CORRECTIONS POLICY
A clear process for factual errors, material omissions, and meaningful updates.
Corrections are treated as part of responsible publishing—not as an exception to it.
What we correct
Factual errors
Incorrect names, dates, figures, locations, quotations, or factual descriptions.
Overstated certainty
Claims presented as settled when the evidence is uncertain or disputed.
Material omissions
Missing context that creates a substantially misleading impression.
Significant updates
Later developments that materially change the meaning of time-sensitive content.
How corrections are handled
1. Review the claim
Identify the exact statement at issue and the evidence supporting the request.
2. Verify independently
Compare the claim with credible authoritative sources.
3. Correct proportionately
Minor fixes may be silent; material changes should be reflected clearly.
4. Preserve transparency
Where understanding changes materially, explain what was corrected.
